I'm a Director of Engineering at InVision, one of the largest fully-distributed companies in the world. Through previous years of managing remote employees in partially-distributed teams, and then becoming fully remote myself as a leader for the last 3 years, I've learned a lot about what it takes to be successful in a distributed setting. We'll talk through our experiences as remote workers and what we can practically do, and optimize for, in order to set ourselves up for success and growth. Note: you do not need to be a remote worker to attend! If you're interested in the concept and pursuing remote work, this can be super helpful as you prepare and interview!
