Dave brings over 20 years of technology and leadership experience to Hired, with expertise in digital media, e-commerce, transactional systems, and digital marketplaces. As a CTO, Dave has been transforming technology and technology teams, setting them, and by extension the businesses they support, up for huge success. He is equally comfortable working in startups as well as mature organizations. His specialty - strategically aligning and maturing teams for maximum value to the product and business. Dave joined Hired after previously serving as CTO and other senior Technology leadership roles at LaCalle Group, Spafinder Wellness, and XO Group Inc, (formerly known as The Knot, Inc). In those roles, he gained experience taking a company public, supporting significant revenue growth, scaling teams, and managing international teams. In his career, Dave has seen the challenges with hiring through traditional channels and sees tremendous opportunity for Hired to transform the hiring space and become a leading force in the space. Dave holds a degree in mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He serves as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown on Long Island, New York, where he lives with his wife, daughter, son and rescue dog.
