Empowering teams with with ownership helps build efficiency and drives good culture. Scaling teams is a challenge in fast growing startups. In this session we will discuss the pros and cons of service ownership and how it can effect scaling teams. About the workshop leader: Vasu leads the engineering team at Bond, a fast growing early stage startup with the vision to bring banking back to life. Vasu began her career as a post-doctoral research scientist at the Fermi National Accelerator Lab where she worked on the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment, one of the world’s largest scientific collaborations. Her experience working at one of the world largest scientific labs with remote teams from all over the world has been quite instrumental during these pandemic times. Vasu also spent a lot of time in trading firms where she learnt about reduced software delivery cycles.
