Raising Awareness of Implicit Bias within Asian Communities

Circle Description

Graduating Stanford in the late 90's, I have grown up with Silicon Valley and got a first hand view of how "the magic" is created. Had a chance to work and go to school with people that would ultimately go onto do great things. All the while, finding my voice as an Asian American leader, and trying to forge a path with few role models to look up to. Hoping we can open the door for the underrepresented now, just as others did for me 20 years ago. For this circle, I'd love to explore how the AA community may best internalize recent events, build empathy for our underrepresented groups, and acknowledge what factors in our backgrounds may contribute to latent bias.
