Influencing Without Authority

You have brilliant ideas that you want your team to work on! ...but you don't necessarily have "authority" over your team or your team's roadmap. Let's discuss how you can influence your teammates, manager(s), and cross-function peers -- from building a solid working relationship, to proving to yourself that your idea is correct, and to ultimately convincing others to work on your idea. I was at Lyft for five years starting as the first external EM hire to seeing the company through the IPO to eventually leading the Driver engineering org. I recently joined as VP of Engineering at Opendoor and am now on my own journey to build new working relationships. Let's go through this process together.
