It is nice to see the uptick in hiring for diversity and its importance in building a team/organization - although we are surely not quite there yet in terms of overall success. In addition to diversity in hiring is there enough focus on inclusion? Do we have the tools, support and culture necessary to make diverse opinions from underrepresented color, race, background and thoughts be heard and accepted? How can we ensure that underrepresented groups can be successful? As an immigrant I faced a few challenges in my own journey. I realize its important to listen and to understand the pain points faced by people of color, ethnicity and background. The industry as a whole has had some initiatives that can help - but we can surely do better. I am looking forward to share with the community and help spread the message.

Sudhir was full of enthusiasm, genuinely listened to the opinions of team members, and simultaneously mentored by providing helpful suggestions, even as our team quickly grew in size. He was a precise and clear communicator, with a solid technical understanding. His focus was always on getting the job done, reliably and effectively, even if it meant taking less credit for his work. I also appreciated his transparency in decision making and willingness to collaborate with other teams.

Sudhir is the rare person who is both an excellent engineer and an excellent manager. His engineering work at Netflix was at the core of Netflix's move to the cloud and was used in nearly every service. He approaches being a manager with the same dedication and passion that a great engineer uses to write good code. I hold Sudhir in high regard and can recommend him without qualification.
