Gordon Wintrob is a tech industry veteran, having co-founded and led two Y Combinator startups, StackLead (W14) and Newfront (W18). He has raised over $300M for Newfront and grown the team to over 850 people. He has also held engineering positions in both early-stage and public companies such as LinkedIn. Gordon's experience has given him the expertise to offer mentees real-world advice on building successful teams from the ground up.
Circle Description
This Circle will guide technical co-founders through the process of building an early technical team. It will include sessions on the types of roles to hire for, the best ways to source talent, and the common pitfalls to avoid. At the end of the Circle, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to hire the first several Engineers and Product people for their startup. All payments will be donated to Girls Who Code, an organization working toward closing the gender employment difference in computing.
