Finding and leveraging mentorship

Hello! Small improvements compound over years, and receiving mentorship more regularly will truly affect your career trajectory. While our backgrounds are different and privilege certainly helps with finding mentorship, I have discovered some resourceful ways to find mentorship that I believe could help anyone. I've had several mentors in the past few years, and believe I've found some questions and best practices that can help you leverage your relationship once you find a mentor. Previously I've worked at Facebook and Houseparty, so I can help with a few sizes and types of companies. I've also had mentors in product, engineering, and management, so I should be able to help with finding and utilizing a few types. I'm excited to meet with you all and learn from your experiences!
