I'm Jossie Haines, the Sr Director of Platform Engineering at Tile. I've spent 20 years in the tech industry working on large scale consumer technologies at places like Apple, Zynga and American Express. I've been an engineering leader for 10 of those years, and am on a mission to keep women in tech and empower underrepresented minorities to truly have a voice in tech. Tech today does not fully address the needs of the non-majority and we have to change that. The only way to fix technology is to hire more diverse teams that provide different perspectives that are actually incorporated into the tech.
