Circle Description

Abe Ankumah is an entrepreneur and technology business leader. Abe co-founded and is the CEO, Nyansa, one of the fastest growing startups in the enterprise network analytics and IoT space with venture investors including 8VC and Intel Capital. Nyansa was acquired by VMware in Feb 2020. Before Nyansa, Ankumah was Director of Products at Meraki Inc. (which was acquired by Cisco Systems). Abe has also held management and product engineering roles at Aruba Networks (now part of HP) and Fulcrum Microsystems (acquired by Intel Corporation), where he was part of the founding engineering team. Abe began his career working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA. Abe grew up in Ghana before moving to the United States for college. Abe holds a BS degree from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is an inventor on multiple patents.
