Joey Lei

I'm Joey Lei, a Sr. Product Manager II at HashiCorp. I help engineering leaders who want to drive business impact in addition to growing their technical and management careers. Having started out as an engineer and engineering management over a decade and a half ago, I am currently thrives in a business leadership role in product management. I’ve delivered countless product roadmaps, but more importantly, I can say I delivered business impact. I’ve grown companies in all product cycles: early user adoption with product introduction, scaled revenue growth during expansion cycles, and optimized costs in mature product downtrends. Most recently, I lead strategic cloud platform initiatives for Terraform Cloud at HashiCorp, the leader in Infrastructure as Code/DevOps where I launched a new consumption pricing model that will fuel company revenue aspirations. Prior to this role, I was a Principal Product Manager at Kasten where I chartered new cybersecurity partnerships and established strategic technical alliances to expand the product feature set and increased differentiation and accelerated thought leadership. Before that, I led a variety of senior management leadership roles managing service portfolios, product lines, and even small engineering teams. Aside my professional work, I'm an active member of the Plato Mentor Program. I'm passionate about helping engineers and product managers elevate their career beyond product delivery execution to driving impactful business outcomes that matter.
