Circles is a Series of several sessions, 1h per session. Each Circle hosts up to 10 participants and is lead by our top & most senior mentor. The mentor will share their experience and knowledge on a specific topic, and will answer questions from the participants.
Now I'm manager, how should I start and what to do next?
Do you feel overwhelmed in the new role as a manager? Don't you know what to do first and what to do next? Aren't you sure, if this is what you want? Don't worry, you're not the only one. I went through this feelings as well. This Circle is first aid kit, when you don't have time to study books or long courses. It's designed as first remedy to pick, when you have only 3 hours of your precious time. It will help you to navigate in the new managerial role. It will give you support in your beginnings and help you to avoid already known dead ends. It will help you identify what to focus on, what to leave for later and what to ignore. It will help you establish relationships with important stakeholders around you. All the knowledge is based on my personal experience becoming Engineering Manager in the scaleup company during hypergrowth, where we the tripled size of Engineering department during 2 years. The same happened to my team. During that we were able to launch new product and establish sustainable workflows for everyone in the team.
