As head of engineering at Backblaze, I work closely with the Product, Design, and Data teams to define our technical product vision. As part of the executive team, I’m focusing on business strategies and defining the appropriate roadmap to ensure execution. On the Engineering side, my responsibilities include: - driving our talented teams of engineers and QAs on delivering high quality software across our cloud storage solutions, Mac and Windows client applications, Web and Mobile applications, as well as generating a data warehouse for analytics. - partnering with recruiters to hire engineers/QAs to support growth. - ensuring talent retention and growth for my organization.
