As the Head of Engineering of the Cloud Services Platform at VMware, I lead a high-performing, multi-geography Platform Engineering team. Our team is responsible for building core SaaS platform capabilities, including identity and access management (IAM), commerce, notification, and analytics. Additionally, we build a PaaS platform based on Kubernetes and manage the VMware Marketplace. I am passionate about mentoring and developing my team members. Before my current role, I led various engineering organizations in the cloud services and SaaS/PaaS platforms. Through these experiences, I have gained valuable insights into the latest trends in cloud computing. I prioritize creating solutions that are customized to meet customer needs and continuously strive to improve efficiency. I also enjoy sharing best practices and techniques related to cloud engineering with others. Beyond my professional life, I find joy in traveling and exploring new places. During my free time, I also enjoy reading and watching basketball games.
