I am Sourabh Sahay, a Director of Engineering at Booking.com. In my current role, I am leading Attraction and Ground-transports at Booking.com. I have held engineering leadership and executive roles in some of the world’s largest tech companies, including Booking.com, Meta (Facebook), Amazon, and Expedia Group. Alongside a successful career in big corporations, I have founded two startups: a fintech venture purchased by Zius and a profitable start-up in ERP integration/industry automation/payment collection, which I scaled up to 100+ employees. It currently handles up to 35% of digital automated collection in India thanks to the solution I architected. In my previous roles, I have successfully managed large-scale projects and teams, delivering innovative solutions and driving business growth. I have a strong background in software engineering and have been instrumental in implementing AI and automation in various processes. My passion for mentorship has allowed me to guide and inspire junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. In my free time, I enjoy reading about Plato's philosophy and practicing mentorship through volunteering and organizing workshops. With over 2 years of experience as a Director of Engineering, I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact in the tech industry.
