Ronit Bohrer Hillel

I am Ronit Bohrer Hillel, a seasoned product-engineering leader with a track record of delivering innovations and growing concepts to enterprise-level large-scale products. Over the last +20 years of my career, I have led SaaS, AI, no-code, Telecom and Big Data initiatives as part of enterprise, and startups companies. I bring a strong understanding of how to connect a business vision to successful product delivery. I am a trained career coach and enjoy coaching, mentoring and advising technology leaders . I am an advocate for accelerating Women in Engineering and an active DEI leader. Previously, I was a VP of Engineering at Smartsheet where I grew and led a +100 person multi-discipline engineering team delivering solutions at scale. I took part in leading the Company level OKRs and drive impact across the organization. I helped the company accomplish the cloud transformation from on-premise data centers to the AWS public cloud as well as adopt the DevOps model across the organization. At Amazon, I combined ML and Engineering to deliver innovative experiences. I was part of launching the first Alexa Shopping as well as creating and launching the Amazon’s Choice label. Later I led the Alexa Conversational Skill Builder, powering developers with tools to create conversational agents. Outside of the main stream of work, I dedicate my time to promoting Women in Tech. I established Women in Tech affinities (ERG). I was the Co-Founder for the Jewish professional Network in the greater Seattle area. And lastly, I have been a regular presenter at various well known conferences.
