Nidheesh Puthalath

I am Nidheesh Puthalath, Director of Engineering at Wish with over 18 years of experience in spearheading software solutions across various industries. In my current role, I lead a global team of 30+ members in building and scaling the wish.com website from scratch. I also oversee Wish's consumer backend engineering systems, driving innovation and expansion for wish.com. Additionally, one of my successful project saved $56 million in operational costs under my leadership. In my previous roles at Wish, I have managed and developed teams to create cutting-edge solutions for the e-commerce industry. I have also been instrumental in expanding the Client Infra team for Wish's consumer applications from one to 12 members in just one year. My passion for Mentorship and Plato has helped me excel in my career and drive my teams towards success. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring new places. I am also an avid listener of audio books and love to keep up with the latest technological advancements. As a firm believer in Mentorship, I often volunteer my time to mentor young professionals and help them reach their full potential. My dedication to my work and my commitment to continuous learning have been the key factors in my success as an engineering leader at Wish.
