Monica Bajaj

I am a seasoned technology executive with over a decade of industry experience successfully building and scaling global diverse teams. I bring in a unique combination of strong expertise in technology, operations, global expansion, M&A and taking products from inception to launch. Currently I am serving as a VP of Engineering at Okta where I lead the Developer Experience and Fine Grained Authorization ( FGA) portfolio for Customer Identity Cloud ( CIAM). I am responsible for building a frictionless developer experience for Consumer and SaaS Apps thus securing billions of logins every month. My expertise spans technology, operations, global expansion, and product launch in areas such as Consumer/Enterprise, Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, DevOps, and Security. I have taken products into the global market ( APAC) by launching localization and globalization programs delivering multi million dollar growth. Previously I led senior engineering leadership positions at Workday, Perforce, Network Appliance, and UKG. I hold a Masters in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai. I am an active supporter of diversity in STEM, has launched several Women in Technology initiatives and now an exec sponsor for Women at Okta and a board member for SheTO, an organization focused on Women in Engineering leaders. When not obsessing over technology, I can be found spending time with Boy Scouts, enjoying hiking and supporting the cause of mentorship and uplifting women and young girls.
