I'm Matthew Clower, a Chief Technology Officer at Treasure Financial. I'm responsible for developing and driving the company's technology strategy and direction. I'm also in charge of hiring, onboarding, and developing software engineers. I'm proud of having developed a career development ecosystem for software engineers that improved retention and provided internal growth opportunities. Before joining Treasure Financial, I served as Chief Software Architect at WePay, an integrated payments provider. During my 8-year tenure there, I was responsible for defining the IC career ladder and promotions, and was also a mentor and sponsor for engineers. Additionally, I created engineering programs for apprenticeship, rotational development, and internal and external mentorship. In my free time, I'm an active mentor in the Plato community and love to help guide the next generation of software engineers.
