I am Jose Pettoruti, an engineering leader and mentor. I am currently a Senior Director of Engineering at Visa, VP Software Engineering at Currencycloud. I have 4 years and 7 months of experience working with the company and 12+ years experience in Tech. My role involves leading our software engineering team and building industry-leading payments API which has processed over 50 billion dollars worth of transactions. I have extensive experience with technologies such as Java, Ruby, Scala, AWS, Kafka, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Microservices and Kubernetes. Additionally, I am passionate about mentorship. In my free time, I enjoy playing the sailing and photography.
