I am Jordan Farber, and I currently serve as the Senior Engineering Manager for R&D at Belden. In this role, I am responsible for multiple initiatives, including leading a product team and mobile app team, as well as managing an embedded platform that powers internal product customers. My focus is on setting a strong vision for team norms and processes, from requirements gathering to delivery, and utilizing coding tools, CI/CD, and test automation. With my leadership, we have successfully reduced overall code complexity by 60%, increased quality by 30%, reduced build time by 60%, and improved on-time delivery by 50%. Previously, I served as Product Owner for Edge Platforms at Belden, where I oversaw a team of managers, direct reports, and contractors in development, QA, project management, and product ownership. Through my leadership, we were able to achieve significant results, such as streamlining processes and increasing efficiency. I also have a strong background in C, GO, React, and Linux environments. With my experience and expertise, I am committed to driving innovation and success in my role at Belden. In my free time, I am passionate about mentoring and giving back to my community. I have been a part of the Plato mentoring program for the past two years, where I have had the opportunity to guide and support emerging professionals in the tech industry. I am also an avid traveler and enjoy exploring new cultures and cuisines.
