Daniel Short

I'm Dan, Director of Software Engineering at Virtuous. At Virtuous, I lead the engineering team and am passionate about creating a culture of growth and mentorship. I strive to make engineers’ lives easier by providing support and resources to help them reach their goals. Previously, I was the Director of Software Engineering at InVision, where I led the Extensibility Zone and worked to develop SDKs, APIs, and connected workflows. I was part of the Senior Leadership Team and focused on improving team processes, hiring engineers, and working with HR to build out Engineering Mentorship programs. I'm passionate about philosophy and mentoring and have been lucky to work in roles that allow me to do both. In my free time, I enjoy reading, eating ice cream while walking around the neighborhood, and spending time with my family.
