I am a New York based mentor-coach-manager-technologist. Originally from the UK, I have worked both in London and New York as an engineer, tech lead, team lead and director of engineers. I have presented at conferences, run organisation-level programs, grown folks from entry level engineers into proven leaders and also made some great friends along the way. I am currently taking a career break, SCUBA diving, travelling and catching up with family. Throughout my 1-1 interactions I use a few different styles of coaching/mentoring to help the mentee think in different ways and approach situations differently. This includes, simple discussion, process, role playing, reflection, take home reading and more. I always try and ensure my mentees leave the engagement with concrete and actionable food for thought.
