Harijs Deksnis

I am Harijs Deksnis, Director of Engineering at Giraffe360. In my current role, I oversee the work of our engineering efforts, working closely with the C-suite and other departments to shape and deliver the best product experience. I am responsible for the overall growth and success of the software department, including coaching and developing team leads and top technical talent. Previously, I served as Director of Software Engineering, where I was responsible for the integrated work effort of 6 Scrum teams. I have a strong background in engineering management and leadership, and I am passionate about building and growing successful teams. I am also a strategic thought partner, constantly anticipating and adapting to the changing needs of the business. In my free time, I enjoy reading and mentoring aspiring engineers. I am a strong believer in the power of mentorship and am always looking for opportunities to give back to the tech community. My passion for Plato's philosophy has also greatly influenced my leadership style and approach to problem-solving. I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, both personally and professionally.
