Vikash Chhaganlal

I'm Vikash Chhaganlal, Head of Engineering at Xero. I lead and manage global software products across multiple product teams to improve the working lives of hundreds of thousands of small business customers and their employees. My teams hone development practices and develop an engineering culture to create a world-class software engineering environment. I also collaborate with Product Management, Delivery Coaches, Architecture, and other Engineering Managers to continuously improve Xero’s technology platform. In my previous roles, I have built, scaled, and led high-performing engineering teams. My teams have developed customer-centric products and services that have enabled my employers to grow and scale. I'm an experienced mentor, having worked with teams to develop and nurture skills that have allowed them to grow and become their best. My passion lies in building an ecosystem of trust and collaboration where teams can excel. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and mentoring young entrepreneurs. My goal is to help them create a successful future for themselves and their businesses.
