Interviewed and hired a Director of Engineering to replace my role. Managed multiple engineering teams and provided support to others in the San Francisco Office. • Experience mentoring junior engineers, senior / tenured engineers and engineering managers. • Reimagined Indeed's native job seeker apps. Set technical direction and built the team from the ground up. • Launched Job Spotter, an app that lets users take pictures of help wanted signs. Identified an MVP, prioritized features, and coached the team. • Led development and design of Indeed's in-house notification platform. • Responsible for Job Alerts, one of Indeed's largest sources of traffic. Determined product features and identified opportunities for growth. • Actively involved in hiring for senior engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and QA engineers. Conducted hundreds (if not thousands) of interviews.
