This role encompasses a team of 20 FTE and 30+ applications (both vendor provided and built in-house). Leading role in changing the application sourcing model moving to managed services/SAAS Leveraging Robotics Process Automation to automate repetitive manual tasks e.g the automation of security master updates will save approx. 700 hours manually

Responsible for providing technical advice to regulated institutions on IT-related issues including security, project management, application development and disaster recovery. K​ey roles and responsibilities are summarised below: \- Basel II accreditation: i​nvolved in Basel II accreditation of Australian banks, focussing on the data management aspects of credit risk (​IRB)​and operational risk (​AMA). \- Onsite review of financial institutions: C​onducted IT operational risk reviews, using an internally developed methodology based on industry guidance such as COBIT, PRINCE 2 and ITIL. Focus on IT general controls, management, governance and strategy. Responsibilities included managing all aspects of the review cycle including, preparation, fieldwork, written and verbal reporting of findings to the board of directors. \- Input into and development of APRA policy and procedures. \- Provided operational risk training internally.
