Ross McKegney is Director of Engineering at Adobe, leading teams on new business initiatives in Creative Cloud. Prior to Adobe, Ross built and sold Web 3D publishing platform Verold to Box, where he then went on to help launch their Platform Business, a content platform-as-a-service used by companies like Uber, Morgan Stanley, AstraZeneca, and others. Ross has honed a range of skills from years as an entrepreneur, from building and running high performance engineering teams to thinking holistically about business and product challenges in context of technical innovation and strategic partnerships. Ross grew up on the East Coast of Canada, then lived in Toronto for many years before moving to sunny California. Outside of work, he's an avid mountain bike racer; he's competed in races across the Alps, Mongolia, Northern Norway, and throughout the US and Canada.
