VTS is the industry-leading platform for commercial real-estate leasing and asset management. 1 in 3 office buildings in the US run on VTS today. The cloud-based SaaS platform centralizes leasing data for large landlords, currently tracking 9+ billion square feet of commercial real estate globally. The company has raised $110MM to date.
I manage experience teams and focus my time on building high performing teams by recruiting, driving technical strategy, and developing our people. The experience teams are a cross-functional group of product managers, engineers, designers, and qa analysts. Each team works closely with our customers to build products that help them close deals faster, retain their tenants, and understand their performance.

Technologies: node.js, PostgreSQL, and backbone.js. Integrated payments with Balanced Payments, restaurant communication with Twilio, and job queues with iron.io. Deployments to heroku and AWS.
Prior to online catering, Goodybag was providing a digital loyalty program to brick and mortar businesses. We deployed over 400 highly customized Android tablets to businesses in Austin, TX. We utilized NFC to keep track of customer loyalty and built an iOS app for our customers who could use a QR code instead.

Worked with a team of 6 engineers to build a distributed low latency database for fuzzy matching. Built using HDFS for data storage, Hadoop for batch processing, Avro for network communication and data serialization, and Mahout for performing distributed data cleansing, clustering, and classification. My focus was on data clustering and classification. Built applications to analyze large sets of network traffic data collected by the Network Threat Operations Center. Worked on interesting research problems regarding visualization of data to do analytics and reveal interesting information. Used space filling curves to display data and locate sensitive networks within the United States and around the world. Used Hadoop and Accumulo to store and analyze large amounts of traceroute data collected by sensors around the world via CAIDA datasets. Presented on the need for a Pregel like framework for processing large graphs.
Worked with a team of 10 developers to build a secure system for receiving and analyzing files for possible threats via various protocols. Major focused was placed integrating different security practices such as digital signatures for xml and encryption for email into the Java software stack. Created web services using CXF. Developed applications to validate against different schema standards and XML transformations including Relax-NG, Schematron, and XSLT. Integrated these technologies into an Enterprise Service Bus.
Protein Alignment (NIH)
