I’m happy to provide an unbiased opinion on the company or technology in question and otherwise help you make the right decisions for your needs. Operations – Thanks to having spent most of my career in an operational setting, I’ve developed a knack for finding and fixing broken things. If you feel you have issues with your system, or perhaps your operations team is just not up to par, I can help with both. I can either train your staff in operational best practices to allow them to fix the problems themselves, or roll up my sleeves and jump in to lead your team and fix the problem for you. Unix/Linux Systems Architecture – There will come a time when you simply don’t have the time to do things yourself. When that happens, I can help with tasks ranging from helping you choose the right hosting provider for your website to designing the datacenter for your company and most things in between. Additionally, I can assist in areas such as security, growth, scaling, and the automation of your existing infrastructure. Software Development – Deciding to commit resources to an untested idea can be a difficult decision. I can help rapidly prototype a concept to allow you to vet your idea before needing to make that call. I specialize in systems level software to automate things like capacity scaling and define server configuration.
