I am the VP of Engineering at People.ai @ People.ai ($100M raised from a16z, Iconiq, Lightspeed, and YC). During my four years at People.ai, I have scaled out People.ai's Engineering organization from 8 to ~40 Engineers and Data Scientists. We’ve built out a product that uses AI to analyze sales activity and optimize sales processes and we've deployed it at a hundred of the largest enterprises in the world. My background is in systems design and data processing at scale; with research background in databases at MIT and as an early engineer at Sumo Logic. I am a big believer in servant leadership. In my experience, great teams are formed by hiring incredible people and supporting them on a mission that helps both them and the company grow.

Architect
LogicHub
Jan 2016 - Jan 2017
I led the creation of a first sellable product starting from an investor deck, scaling the Engineering team from two to eight backend Engineers. - As LogicHub's second Engineer, I designed and implemented the core components of our product, a threat detection engine. - I led the team to build an MVP from scratch, all the way through enabling our first two customers, including a major US bank.
Engineering Manager
Sumo Logic
Oct 2012 - Apr 2016
– Built infrastructure to collect all customer data, first as an individual contributor and then as the Engineering Manager for the team. – As an individual contributor, implemented core features such as a scalable distributed system for ingesting customer data generated in the cloud. These features helped grow Sumo's ingestion capacity by > 100x. – As a lead for the team, architected several improvements to our ingestion service and deployed agents, including performance, usability, scalability projects, and integrations with third-party services. – Built up a team of eight engineers from scratch, providing mentoring and technical guidance, and helping develop technical leadership inside the team. – Awarded 2016 Founders Award for contributions to the company
