Jenny Truong

Jenny Truong is a Senior Director of Product Technical Program Management within the Facebook team. She was one of the first Product TPMs at Meta. Jenny helped define and establish the role that integrates product, engineering, and program management skills into a single function to scale products and teams. Since joining Meta in 2011, Jenny has worked on many areas including Stories, Payments and Commerce products. She also built teams for Ads, News Feed, Marketplace, Groups and core Meta experiences across Menlo Park, Seattle, New York and London. She speaks at many events including the Women in Product and Grace Hopper India conferences and LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Meta-hosted events to talk about the TPM role, product development and career growth. Jenny also leads Diversity & Inclusion initiatives at Meta to amplify and support underrepresented people. She is extremely passionate about developing and advocating for women and people of color in tech. Prior to Meta, Jenny developed products and built operations teams at Salesforce, Oracle and Siebel Systems. Jenny earned a bachelor's degree from UC Davis. She grew up in San Francisco, enjoys listening to podcasts, exercising, and creating memorable experiences with her husband and son.
