My name is Itay Neeman - I lead the engineering team as VP Engineering at Okera, which is a startup in the big data space. I help drive a variety of topic and focus, from how we build and deliver software to how we engage with customers and work with partners in Sales, Marketing, etc. Prior to Okera, I was in engineering leadership at Splunk (managing teams for 6 years). I helped start our Seattle office (the first satellite engineering office for the company) and was the site lead for it as well. I’ve led several efforts here, including our flagship product as well as some new initiatives, and teams ranging from 2 to 80.
