Software Engineer

Oct 2013 - Apr 2014

Besides the usual programming on iOS, I also: \* Wrote technical specifications for some of iFM's products: scope, requirements specifications, high level design, etc. \* Ensured our team followed best practices like code reviews, continuous integration, and agile. \* Wrote white papers and technical proposals that guided our clients towards the right technical solutions. \* Gained 4-5 kilos since we were all pretty devote of having burgers for lunch.

Sep 2012 - Sep 2012

Summer project Collaborated as Software Engineer with artists and programmers for the development of exhibition prototypes that involved heavy use of technology. \* Planned the development of our projects using some ideas of agile. All the installations of my teams were ready for the exhibition opening. \* Built functional prototypes using Arduino, Processing, OpenFrameworks and QT.

iOS Software Engineer

Apr 2012 - Sep 2013

I worked as a contractor for the (then) leading company on mobile banking and payments services in the UK. \* I configured some legacy projects to run in the new CI infrastructure to have better feedback and ensure regressions didn’t happen. \* Implemented iOS applications that used a broad set of Frameworks and technologies: Web Services, serialized data in all its flavors, Core Graphics, Core Animation, Keychain, etc...

Lead iOS Software Engineer

Aug 2011 - Mar 2012

\* Developed iOS applications that solved the needs of our customers, looked nice to our designers and satisfied the criteria of QA. \* Communicated with our analysts, UI designers and testers in China to produce apps that fully met their vision. \* Estimated and scoped projects into feasible plans for developers that were delivered on time. \* Introduced agile to my team of developers. \* Had lots of fun with my team!

iOS Cowboy

Aug 2009 - Jan 2017

Every now and then I design and develop my own iOS applications together with graphic designers and other programmers. Some of them have had thousands of monthly active users and have been featured in the iTunes Cover. Others have been absolute failures. :) As a private contractor, I've developed interactive applications for marketing campaigns of brands like Heineken and Nielsen Media Research. Every time within the time, quality and functionality that my clients expected.
