I enjoy working with a management style which empowers individual engineers a lot and works with very little micro management but own initiative instead. I coach other engineers on the side and apply similar approaches for my own team, to enable them to autonomously deliver great work. Another big focus of mine is vulnerability within the team. Once a month we have a meeting where we show our fears and open up emotionally with the whole team, which foster very deep trust. I usually go first to set an example for that.
