Akanksha Gupta

Akanksha Gupta is an experienced Engineering Manager currently working with Amazon AWS where she leads full stack team(s). Prior to AWS, she worked with Robinhood where she was involved with building products that touch customer’s lives and provide a better trading experience to them. At her stint with Audible(Amazon subsidiary), she shipped products around promotions and pricing, focusing on acquisition and retention of customers. She is also an Amazon Bar Raiser, helping with hiring initiatives and calibration of potential candidates. Before Audible , she worked for a few years with Microsoft as a technical consultant. Between the two companies, she took time to pursue her Masters in Computer Science at Columbia University, New York City. She has been a mentor to people from early in career to mid career stage and is a huge advocate of Women in technology. She has served as the jury member for several esteemed awards such as Stevie Awards, SIIA Codie, GraceHopper and the Webby awards. She has also been part of the Grace Hopper committee review for Software Engineering track. She is an active mentor at PlatoHq, GrowthMentor and FastTrack mentorship programs. She is also part of the IADAS(The International Academy of Digital Arts and Science)and was awarded the Fellowship by the British Computer Society and the RSA.
