    JJ is the co-founder and CTO of WayUp, a venture-backed startup based in NYC that was named by CNN as one of the 30 most innovative companies changing the world. As CTO, JJ oversees everything related to technology, product, and security. JJ has been featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 and as a member of both the Silicon Valley 100 and Silicon Valley 100. He has been an invited speaker at conferences ranging from private VC events to Google Next and has served as a technology mentor to prominent startups in NYC and the Bay Area. Prior to WayUp, JJ studied international business, linguistics, and math at Penn. After a year as a nomadic freelancing backpacker, he joined McKinsey as a consultant in New York before leaving to start WayUp.
