Kathleen Vignos is a VP for Capital One Card Tech, leading end-to-end, empathetic engineering solutions for customers experiencing financial hardship. Before Capital One, Kathleen spent six years leading a broad range of engineering teams at Twitter including ad/promoted tweet integrity through machine learning, language and translation infrastructure, anti-abuse tooling, data privacy and protection, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. She also led Twitter's engineering manager training program and personally trained over 150 engineering managers. Previously, as Director of Engineering at WIRED, she built the team that delivered award-winning consumer mobile and web products and scaled the site to 1 billion page views a year. Earlier roles included startup founder, technical consultant, and university programming instructor. Kathleen earned BS and MS engineering degrees from UCLA and Michigan and holds professional certification in both AWS and Google Cloud. She blogs at kathleencodes.com.
