Jordan Kaye

Hi there! My name is Jordan Kaye, currently the Head of Technology for Belvedere Trading’s office in Boulder. My organization is focused on the research and development of fully automated low-latency trading systems. I have over 10 years of experience in quantitative finance and would love to help others break into the space. As a leader, I believe that maintaining trust through honesty and consistent expectations is key to building high-performing teams and organizations. As a technologist, I enjoy exploring different programming languages and paradigms to design robust and easily maintainable systems. I have in-depth experience with on-prem, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native system design, including distributed systems and event-driven architecture. In the past, I've run platform teams responsible for data analytics, application configuration, messaging, topic discovery, deployment, and monitoring. If you're interested in Apache Kafka/Pulsar, Apache Flink, BigQuery, Vertex AI, and other similar data platform tooling, these are all tools that my teams use daily to operate and analyze market making systems that process petabytes of data every day with latencies measure in microseconds.
